You have to say its a tossup between Metallica and Slayer...They are both the greatest bands in Heavy metal history.I think the edge has to go to Metallica though.With their newest album being back to old school metal,Metallica is in my opinion alittle better..Though Slayer has never shyed away from their heavy roots,Metallica did put out a few terrible albums..I still say Metallica should headline..
