Swedish experimental extreme metallers MESHUGGAH will release their long-awaited concert DVD+CD digipack, "Alive" , on February 5 in Europe and February 9 in the U.S. Recorded during the band's 2008-2009 tours of USA, Canada and Japan, the set contains 105 minutes of footage on DVD and more than 60 minutes of music on CD.

According to Antenna , MESHUGGAH , MNEMIC , THE BURNING and ARTILLERY are among the acts who will perform at the next installment of the Danish Metal Awards , set to take place January 16, 2010 at Amager Bio, Copenhagen, Denmark.

"Awaken" , the debut album from Providence, Rhode Island's freshly-minted metallic hardcore powerhouse THE EMPIRE SHALL FALL , is available for streaming in its entirety on MetalInjection.net . "Awaken" will be released on THE EMPIRE SHALL FALL guitarist Nick Sollecito 's own Angle Side Side Records on November 17.
