Third-grader Omarlyn Pena and her classmates pointed directly at the three soldiers in the auditorium at the James J. Flynn Elementary School as they sang "And I gladly stand up next to you and defend her still today" from Lee Greenwood's song "God Bless the USA." The song, also known as "Proud to be an American," clearly moved the soldiers.
