How do you have a top ten rock band list without including Bon Jovi?
They are arguably the best rock band ever. They have been together for 25 years now, and are still the best band in the world today (they were number one in concert sales on their last tour.) Unlike most bands, they have not faded as time has passed. They have shown their incredible musical versatility over time. I just think it's foolish to leave them out.

PLEASE... I was 18 when BJ (ha ha) came on the seen and with little runaway and even though they were good for what they were... even then I knew that they were just for fun and not to be taken too seriously... it's on a different level.
Bon Jovi is cool and good for warming up to your girlfriends heart and getting into her pants, but that's about all... for the most part, they're just a bunch of bubble gum pop n roll.
Remember, this is not a list of the top 50 or 100 which Bon Jovi may very well deserve a spot, this list is about the top (((10))) and there has to be a serious side to a band to get on this list... there has to be something special that makes you appreciate the musicianship and the timeless nature of the band.
Bands like the Beatles and Led Zeppelin tap into something much deeper than Bon Jovi; they are spiritual and mystical on a whole 'nother level... but that's just my opinion.

What has happened to today's music? Can anybody make a list of the top ten all time bands that includes bands from the last 10-15 years?

In my opinion, nothing even compares nowdays... music has gone to sht!

Also some of the other notable bands n for there excellence n contribution to the music are The Eagles,The Doors, Metalica,Deep purple, The who,Nirvana,Pearl Jam,Greenday,Queen,Ram Jam,Tom Petty n Heartbreakers,Linkin Park,Lykrnd Skyrnd,RHCP,Def leppard,Scorpions,Sex Pistols ,also the ranking doesnt matters what matters is the music
