I'm about to recommend an event that involves talking about music. And yes, I'm aware of the enduringly popular, often-mangled, and almost always misattributed quote that compares talking about music to "dancing about architecture." It's a cute comment, maybe even clever, but at its heart it remains a stupidly dismissive one.
