Keanu Reeves looks back at his own coming of age in Canada

Full story: Canada.com

"I am not, and have never been, a thumb sucker," says Keanu Reeves. "But I did everything else." When asked just what "everything else" was, Reeves parries faster than his two-day beard and sleepless face suggests possible: "Come on, man!" You can't blame the guy for being irritated.

I remember reading that article during the promotion of Thumbsucker. I enjoyed how he was able to talk about himself without revealing himself.

Warm until Friday - now it's getting colder, though I guess it's not as cold as it must be in Germany!

Personally I am sorta a sweater person so I refer to this weather as sweater weather. When you get to the point of mult layers of clothing it gets kinda annoying. That and cold wet feet. Don't like that.

The winters in the past couple of years here have been pretty cold. The one I hate is when you get into your car at night and you have to scrape the outside of your windows then climb in and the inside also has frost all over it. Yuck.

The winter is very mild in my area. Fall and winter is my favorite time of the year. there is some much to love about the cold seasons. I don't even know where to begin. I love the smell of the fallen leaves and wet rain. I enjoy listening to the pitter patter of rain against my window. I love bringing out my winter coats, cardigans, and boots. It's almost as if the world is covered with a special warm fuzzy feeling. It's the time of year when I feel the most engerized, but it's also the time of year when I am loneliest.

Sorry, back to KR. I like reading interviews in which he reveals a little of himself instead of just the acting part. I definitely don't know him, but it's refreshing to see him appear so down to earth and grounded, unlike so many other actors. I had always assumed he is more similar to his character in Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventures. I was surprised.

Autumn has a strange combination of feelings for me. I like putting warm clothes on and going for a walk feeling the breeze on my face. It's a nice contrast after a hot summer. But it's also a sad season - the days become shorter and night falls so quickly... However, I like it. I like the melancholy it evokes in me. It's like it's a necessary step for what lies ahead. Does it make sense?

Sometimes I envy people, which have a chimney: in winter itīs such a great feeling to look at the fire, when itīs cold outside.
Loneliness: is there any organization in your area, where you could meet people, spending some time together, sharing common hobbies? Like art, music, cooking...

I see the winter time as a period to rest (like the animals). Few people might get depressed even frustrated, because of the darkness, missing the sun(warmness/light),city looks mostly deserted in comparison to other seasons. But when the spring comes, then the well-being feeling is back and the nature exploses again, showing us the colors/forms we missed the months before.

Thank you OnlyBeMe. I am not a person who reveals too much of myself, but I've already revealed too much so what's a little more... I mentioned I have a huge family. I am constantly surrounded by family and friends. I thought I had depression and even went to the doctor to have it checked out. Turns out I am quite sane. I have been blessed in my life so I don't understand why I keep feeling like something is missing. I definitely need to get myself a pet. Maybe an akido dog or a wolf breed.

You can be lonely in a crowd or in a company of two. I know that one well. I try to not think about it, though it is ever present in the background. So I keep busy. I think though if you have an animal friend it is far different than a human one and sometimes the only thing that helps is the unconditional understanding of an animal friend. Especially one that is intuitive of your feelings.

I will also search for a four-legged companion, when Iīll have more time and place for it. I did not fix myself on a certain dog breed yet, but it will certainly share one of my hobbies (cooking/eating):)

That's true; that's what I meant. Life's full of ups and downs, and it's the contrast between those opposites what really makes you appreciate things. It's somehow like missing what you don't have and not noticing what is around you.

Daily Horoscope for November 30

Sagittarius

As much as the robust Archer would like to indulge, today you must mind your health. If you go out to celebrate the holidays, go easy on the rich foods and spirits. Too much alcohol and you might find yourself saying the absolute wrong thing to the right person, thus blowing what could be a perfectly lovely evening. Strive for moderation.
