The show in Hondo for the Medina County Fair was a wonderful show. I went to see Johnny Rodriguez but enjoyed Gabe's show also.

My wife and I flew from Virginia to see Johnny at the Medina County Fair and he was great. Our first time seeing him in concert was in 1974 and he is as strong as ever. And for those of you who do not know, he has a wonderful family. His entire family is warm, kind and friendly. Someone needs to write a book about his life, the good times, bad times and his effect on so many people. He is truly a remarkable person as well as his tremendous talent as a legend in country music.

I remember him from back in the 70's with his first hits. Who knew he would come this far. And he still has fans that would come out to see him. your're a real fan if you came from out of state. I agree, he should have a book written about his life and what he's been through.

For those of you in the San Antonio area, Johnny will be appearing at the Main Plaza in San Antonio on Nov. 7th at the 2nd Annual Latino Musical Festival. He is scheduled to appear at 7:30 p.m. Bring your lawnchairs.
