Pity the crowds who could think of nothing better to do on this fine Saturday afternoon than battle the traffic to Stinson Beach, Muir Woods and the wine country.

The Cleveland Orchestra , under the direction of William Eddins, will perform The Star-Spangled Spectacular brought to you by Cuyahoga Arts & Culture , its 24th annual free community concert in downtown Cleveland, on Monday, July 1, on Public Square.

The Port Clinton High School Concert Band will pay tribute to "The March King" John Philip Sousa at 7 p.m. May 18 at the PCHS Performing Arts Center.

The Arts at the UW season continues with "Americana" at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, featuring the symphonic band in the Helen Connor Laird Theatre at the University of Wisconsin-Marshfield/Wood County, 2000 W. Fifth St.

The Euclid Symphony Orchestra presents its final show of the 2012-13 season Sunday, May 5 at 3 p.m. The " Pops Concert " takes place in the 900-seat auditorium of Shore Cultural Centre, 291 E. 222nd St.
