The JVC Jazz Festival is gone, but The Tea Lounge in Park Slope has brewed something strong and new: The Bloom Festival, curated by journalist Lara Pellegrinelli and violist Tanya Kalmanovitch.
Jackson Pollock , the Abstract Expressionist American painter best known for his "drip paintings" produced from 1947 to 1950, loved and was inspired by jazz.
