Review: James Taylor creates a sense of home at the Plaza

Full story: IEP High School Mania - El Paso Times

At a little more than 2,000 seats, the lovely Plaza Theatre may seem a little small to host an artist of singer-songwriter James Taylor's stature.

What a great show! James Taylor was on his game! His crystal clear voice was really highlighted by the excellent sound mix and the Plaza's accoustics, and his new drummer is a fine addition. Thank you for an equally great review! You nicely captured the entire wonderful evening.

I hope it's not another 13 years. I have been following Taylor for 36 years and never tire of listening to him. My kids (18, 16, and 8 years) were there and they also were very impressed and felt very at home with Taylor. It was a very personal concert in the sense that I'm sure that many of us there had plenty of memories associated with his songs. At times I felt as if though he was singing only to my family and me. It was an honor to be able to have him at such a nice place as the Plaza.
Bring him back next year!
