Workers, advocates gird for raid

The article in today's Omaha World-Herald titled Activists brace for Waterloo immigration raid (AP) has other details. One being: Doug Miller, general manager of the fairgrounds, said he was not allowed to release many details, but he notes that contractors have installed massive generators next to many of the building and covered many of the windows. A number of trailers also have been set up at the site over several weeks. This man's idea of what not to release and what to release are as different as night and day!

No one forced them to come here illegally and work.

The victims are the children who are brought here by parents, indoctrinated in fear and never told by the parents who was the law breaker in the first place and now they are facing the piper for what was done.

Now, my small business has dropped off due to the economy, yet again another cycle of no students. The extra money would be nice right now. Can I go rob the local 7-11 or cheat on the next quarterly taxes and tell my kids that I am doing what needs to be done to help up through this time and then pay victim? I can guarantee my preschooler would be the first one to call 911 on me while my older one explained what I did was wrong to the cops.

From one small business owner to another. Exactly! La Migra, La Migra, La Migra-their kids wouldn't need to fear La Migra if mommy and "possibly" daddy weren't here unlawfully! And I doubt very much if my church would tell me how to avoid the law!

I just got off the phone with the kwwl news and no press confrence as of yet . I asked if they are goint to cover the illegals point of veiw then please share an American point of veiw , here in Nebraska when Swift was raided they only gave the illegals veiw, imagine that ...
