Dobbs: Mexico's president shows hypocrisy
Mexican President Felipe Calderon Sunday demanded the United States surrender its sovereignty, abandon the rule of law and accede to Mexico's inherent supremacy.

1 Last paragraph is the best. |
The last paragraph being the most important to me being our government not asserting the rights of the citizens of our nation. WE ARE A NATION OF LAWS. THOSE WHO WISH TO SHARE THE BOUNTY OF OUR PEOPLE MUST DO SO TOO, OR ARE DOOMED TO FAIL. SO SAY THE CITIZENS OF OUR NATION!! |
|
Sorry Indy, didn't see your post saying the same thing!! Glad we agree, though!! |

Multiculturalism is a growing force in America’s universities and public life. In brief, multiculturalism is the view that all cultures, from that of a spirits-worshiping tribe to that of an advanced industrial civilization, are equal in value.
Since cultures are obviously not equal in value—not if man’s life is your standard of value—this egalitarian doctrine can have only one purpose: to raze the mountaintops. Multiculturalism seeks to obliterate the value of a free, industrialized civilization (which today exists in the West and elsewhere), by declaring that such a civilization is no better than primitive tribalism. More deeply, it seeks to incapacitate a mind’s ability to distinguish good from evil, to distinguish that which is life promoting from that which is life negating. We are opposed to this destructive doctrine. We hold that moral judgment is essential to life. The ideas and values that animate a particular culture can and should be judged objectively. A culture that values freedom, progress, reason and science, for instance, is good; one that values oppression, stagnation, mysticism, and ignorance is not. ARI I love Lou. |

Carol, I too have noticed those trends. The Mexican Government and Groups are petitioning the various World organizations for "human rights" one article I read but did not save.. stated Our Southern Border with Mexico, stopped The Right to Life of Mexican citizens trying to come here, illegally....as some of them die in the process. Mind you, it is the Mexican government that prints & distributes.. the HOW TO cross the border illegally in the form of comic books. The Mexican government should be held responsible for sending it's citizens to their deaths.. IMO.. The families of those people should ban together in a class action law suit against the Mexican government for printing those comic books, that led to the death of their loved ones.. |

Calderon can't have it both ways. He cannot fail his citizens at home and then act as the Great Imperialist Protector of his citizens who are driven by poverty and corruption to enter the United States illegally.
The United States provides Mexico with an annual surplus of $65 billion in trade, an estimated $25 billion in remittances from Mexican citizens living and working here illegally, and at least another $25 billion generated by the illegal drug trade across our southern border. I love Lou too. The above is a nice perspective. |

I hope you all watch Lou Dobbs every night. His broken border segments have kept me informed and/or lead me to do some additional research. This Calderone apparently thinks he reigns the world? One would assume he'd instead be ashamed his country has to instruct its' citizens to sneak into ours and send money back to their impoverished relatives. And babies, make as many as you can without haste. "You go guy, keep on dreaming" is all I can say. Go to your senate and demand a change in your country's labor laws, increased minimum hourly wage and all U.S. businesses in Mexico pay 1/2 the hourly wage those jobs formerly paid U.S. workers. I also believe the foreign aid we send to Mexico every year should stop! When he can control his country, stop the drugs, killings, rapes, kidnappings for starters, feed his people, provide housing, etc. he's free to voice his opinion.

NE Red, I study, write, email, phone local, state and DC folks. Send information found to local law enforcement. Many people who post do those things and more. We are active in local, state and national elections... researching the stands, tracking voting records of incumbants. Many posters do that and hold down full time jobs, raise families and contribute to the communities with volunteer work. Believe me, there are very few that I have run across that study this that do not do everything they can. We realize posting is only one way to pass information along and we DEMAND change quite specifically, often siting amendments in proposed legislation.. we stopped the so called "Immigration Reform Legislation" shut down the phone lines in DC. I am glad to see you too hold a passion for change & accountability. Judicial Watch will begin to prosecute those elected officials that give tax money to organizations that advocate illegal aliens. JW is going to also bring law suits to local, state and federal elected officials that refuse to enforce current laws. |
Sorry to leave you out!!! HA!! |
