Brendan Mullen, documentarian of the early L.A. punk scene, died this past Monday at the age of 60.

R.I.P. Brendan Mullen , who was one of the first DIY promoters of punk and independent rock and the first regular booker of punk bands in Los Angeles.

He was 60. Mr. Mullen died at Ventura County Medical Center, said his companion of 16 years, Kateri Butler, on Monday.
