Fosterchild - a 'down and dirty rock 'n' roll band' - will bring its blues-infused Southern rock to The Sound Garden on Sunday with guests Fixer, The Crash Moderns, The Izm and Avince.

Fosterchild is a fusion of talents from guitarist Brian Quinn, formerly of the band Octane, drummer Kevin Miller, who recently relinquished his nine-year career with platinum-selling band Fuel, bassist Eric Leonhardt and vocalist Danny Beissel.

'We all felt like the outsiders in our respective bands and we all got together,' Quinn said in a phone interview Tuesday from Philadelphia before the band hit the road to start its East Coast tour.
