Blues rocker revs up again

Fans with a burning love for Eric Sardinas' fiery music can end their long wait for a new CD from the blues rock slide guitarist. The tattoo-wearing, leather-clad musician released 'Eric Sardinas and Big Motor' on Tuesday, his first new album since 'Black Pearls' from 2003.
Why the long gap?
'We were on the road for three and a half years of 300 nights-a-year touring, and the opportunities to record kind of came and went,' says Sardinas, who will perform Sunday night at Sam's Place.
