TCB-girl, Isn't it refreshing to see how Elvis's sense of fun can be found just about everywhere.

And his image :-)

Hey Maurice, you can call that pure Elvis magic and nothing more. His presence is practically everywhere

Hi Maurice. Yes, I live in Tupelo - about 2 miles from E's birthplace. It's a nice little city.

Opie,I have been to Tupelo 1999, 2002, and 2003.
My wife and I spent a full week in Tupelo thanks to the previous Mayor Larry K Otis.
At the Mockingbird Inn opposite the Milam junior school.

Maureen my wife was a Taylor before we wed 1959.:-)

Well welcome to Tupelo for the past and future visits. I've been here since Jan. 1985 and love it. It would be nice if we had more happening musically here, especially since it's the birthplace of the king. But it's a fairly quiet town at least.
Were you here for Elvis events? January, August or both?
By the way, to stay on topic, I'm not sure that's E on the stone... not sure it's not.
