Is Oprah on Her Way Out

Oprah is not a favorite of mine anymore!

This is getting so old now! Oprah's show is still ranked number 1 every week in the Neilsen TV Ratings. So where is the negative? I think alot of these bloggers who keep writing and hoping for Oprah's demise are either 1 of 2 things: 1) Hillary Clinton supporters who have not forgiven Oprah for choosing to supoort Obama instead of Hillary or 2) Ellen Degeneres fans who keep wishing for Oprah's demise at the top. Every month there are comments and blog post written around the internet about Oprah's supposed "demise" as top talk show host. These posts are completely devoid of any factual information that supports their claim because none such information exist. The TV industry execs only care about ratings. Oprah has been ranked number 1 now for more than 20 years. Ellen Degeneres, however, TV ratings have recently declined over the last few weeks and she has been tied for last in TV syndication ratings, source: www.tvweek.com and www.broadcastingcable.com .

Forgot to mention in my previous post that Oprah's networth increased in 2007 from $1.5 Billion dollars to $2.5 Billion dollars in 2008, source: www.forbes.com . So how is Oprah's empire crumbling?
