Punk rock godmamma Joan Jett seems the antithesis of anything to do with Barbie or Mattel, the company responsible for Barbie, but Mattel is issuing Jett, Debbie Harry and Cyndi Lauper dolls nonetheless.

Mattel brings many celebrities to Barbie's world in 2009. Here's a look at some of the dolls making an appearance.
