Two jazz operas premier in Oakland

Two new jazz operas are coming to town beginning Thursday. The first piece, "The Sisyphus Syndrome," by Black Power poet-playwright Amiri Baraka and sax man David Murray, opens Thursday. via Pleasant Hill Record
