Borscht Belt shtick meets Catholic schoolboy humor at the Gateway Playhouse in Bellport, where "Meshuggah-Nuns!" delivers everything its title promises, including loads of puns.

'Hooray!' or 'Oy vey!'? With any of Dan Goggin's 'Nunsense' projects, it's always a bit of both, but the interfaith version dubbed 'Meshuggah-Nuns!' offers a tasty kosher gimmick that sets the show apart from previous entries.

In a summer season largely devoted to musical extravaganzas, Bellport's Gateway Playhouse schedule also usually includes a small show, presumably as a financial breather.

The Sisters of Hoboken return to the historic Landers Theatre in 11 performances of 'Meshuggah-Nuns!' June 12-28. The zany, madcap show is the fifth in Dan Goggin's series of Nunsense shows.
