Some bands only last a few weeks or months. Luckier ones go for years, sometimes even a decade.

Grammy nominee Claire Lynch & Band, along with Michael Smith, will perform Oct. 18 at a benefit concert for the Gamble Rogers Festival in Flagler College Auditorium, 14 Granada St., downtown St.

Last weekend was fun. Friday night we went to Nightfall to hear Claire Lynch, and the Bluegrass Pharaohs.
