"Gavin Rossdale guest stars as a gruesome goth rocker.'' There's so much wrong with that plot description, it sounds so right! Rossdale , former lead singer of Bush and husband of Gwen Stefani, continues to pursue his acting aspirations as a star whose concert tour schedule just happens to coincide with a serial killer's pattern.

Opening night at Fall Frenzy

By my hoary estimations, the last time the word mellow meant a good thing, it was when James Brown exclaimed to his band "I'm 'bout as mella as I can be" during his 1968 edition of "Live at the Apollo." Since then, it's gone on to signify every genitalia-free trend from Olivia Newton-John to earth shoes to spring color patterns for the kitchen.

You can make him sing Bon Jovi and Bush songs. Classy, huh?

In the new edition of 'Guitar Hero 5' - just released in America - you can unlock the character of Kurt Cobain and make him sing all sorts of hideously undignified songs, including Bon Jovi's 'You Give Love A Bad Name', and even a Bush track, which is deeply ironic given that Gavin Rossdale made millions impersonating Kurt.
