George Thorogood, Buddy Guy coming to PNC Pavilion Aug. 16

Thorogood's blues-rock was a hit in the early '80s on the arena rock circuit, having formed the band in Delaware in the mid-70s. As a guitarist, Guy has been celebrated since the mid-'50s, when he made his name in Chicago's blues circuit with Otis Rush, Leonard Chess, Muddy Waters and Howlin' Wolf.
