Furthur have canceled their headline appearance at the inaugural BottleRock Napa Valley on May 9th, news that comes less than a week after singer and guitarist Bob Weir fell down mid-song onstage while the Grateful Dead offshoot performed April 25th at the Capitol Theater in Port Chester, New York.

Bay Area jam outfit Furthur just announced that it will cancel its set at next week's Bottle Rock Napa Valley music festival in the wake of frontman Bob Weir's onstage collapse.

Holding a statue of Jerry Garcia's hand, The Capitol Theatre's owner Peter Shapiro announced, "This is why we brought this theatre back," at Furthur's final performance last week.
