X has announced a series of sporadic summer headlining dates. These will be sprinkled among the shows the band will play with MUDVAYNE and BLACK LABEL SOCIETY as part of the Pedal to the Metal tour.

The inaugural "Pedal to the Metal Tour" is coming to the Alltel Center Wednesday, Aug.

The Pedal To The Metal Tour 2009 , featuring MUDVAYNE and BLACK LABEL SOCIETY , will kick off July 24 in Portland, ME, and conclude September 9, in Oklahoma City, OK .

The trek is expected to kick off in late July.
