Make plans to get your fill of the blues in downtown London. Bluesfest London X, a 19-and-up outdoor concert series with blues, roots and R&B artists, launches tonight at at Clarence and King streets.

This has probably been said before, but if you're looking for a bluesman who really cooks on the stage, you need to check out Bill Wharton, better known as the Sauce Boss.

Wharton, the subject of Jimmy Buffet song ''I Will Play for Gumbo,'' plays at 2nd Story Blues, 102 W. Fourth St., Bethlehem.

If you like your blues and gumbo hot, the Sauce Boss is coming to town. Bill Wharton, aka the Sauce Boss, brings his blues guitar, stories and big pot of gumbo to the Lyric Theatre on June 19.
