As we head deeper into the summer, outdoor festivals and concerts abound. This weekend there are two festivals of note - Common Ground On the Hill and the All Good Festival.

Contemporary jazz pianist Alex Bugnon, organist Radam Schwartz and woodwindist Anthony Nelson will headline the 21st Annual Asbury Park Jazz Festival from noon to 8 p.m. Saturday, June 27 in Sunset Park at Fifth Avenue and Main Street.

This series is one of the most captivating and musically exhilarating concert events on the Great Plaza, Columbus Boulevard at Chestnut Street.

We've been told that it's called contemporary jazz, not smooth jazz, but whatever you want to call it, keyboardist Alex Bugnon and saxophonist Paul Taylor will play it tonight at Scullers Jazz Club.
