I think by that performance in the press conference, we can safely conclude Sarah's sudden resignation stunned Sarah. lol

Politics is a dirty business. And dirty politics has been a charge against the republicans more often then the democrats. (Nixon, Waylaying Ducacus, impeaching Clinton, Karl Rove) Not to say the democrats are blameless Letterman is not a democrat.

I thought we could never have a president worse than George W. Bush. Then Sarah Palin came along and came close to becoming the person who would replace John McCain when he died of old age.
We don't need some flute-playing beauty pageant contestant who says she can see Russia from her house to be vice president. We needed a responsible person who knew what they were doing to be vice president. Joe Biden was the lesser of two evils.

Letterman is a comedian and he makes fun of whatever is funny. And no matter how much you adore her, Palin is funny. She is like Dan Quail in that way. The sad thing is that all it took was a couple jokes from a hack comedian and Palin folded her tent and gave up. Good God, how would she do in a grueling 2 year battle for the nomination much less if she ever did get to be president? She was mayor of some crack town with less than 20,000 people, and a first term governor of the heavily populated state of Alaska.

And we called Obama underqualified.

Thanks for your post...I so agree with you! But on all accounts, how could she ever imagine quitting to move on to something that isn't tangible would ever fly? I think she has that "somebody told me I am beautiful syndrome" and she has lost her damn mind! To be fair, she is a very attractive lady, but there are millions of very attractive ladies...and there are millions of attractive ladies with common sense and tact! Which unfortunately shhe clearly missed the boat on, probably "fishing" with the hockey dads! LMAO

One last thing it would fair better for her to be honest than to think peeople are stupid and will believe anything that you say, cause you've made the shyt up in your head and thought it clever! You sound like a jealous bitter woman. You seem like the nut case here. Get a grip. I personally don't think she is vice president material, but I do think what the liberals and their media have done to her and her family is just plain disgusting. I give her credit for doing the best thing for Alaska and her family by leaving. I don't think she has it to go any higher in politics than she already has, but I do think she did her best for Alaska.
It is pretty pathetic what American woman did to her. She was put down because she worked, then she was put down because god forbid she had a special needs child and worked. She was put down everytime she (gasp) showed her face in public with one of her kids. She was put down because her daughter had a baby out of wedlock. No matter what she did, she was put down. I chalk it all up to jealousy from bitter woman who didn't have the guts or brains to be a woman in power. It must have made them even more mad that she had beauty on top of it all.

I do think by picking her as his choice for VP, McCain lost the election, but the way Obama is going and really kicking America while we are down, could she have made it any worse. I don't see how.
