"Murder-suicide" was my initial thought when I heard the news. The gun was found right under Kazemi's feet, no suspects were found, and she was McNair's apparent mistress. So it seems logical that McNair was killed and Kazemi shot herself.

He should not have strung this girl along. Be up front. Tell her all you want is a booty call, don't lie about it. Don't tell her you are divorcing your wife. Don't set her up in an apartment and car like you are going to have a future with her. Treat her like it is, a booty call. If she knew up front, she could have options. She could have kept her self esteem. She could have saved herself for someone else. But here she gives her all to him, he's married, and she probably realized too late that she had no future with him. Sad. They need to run that movie "Fatal Attraction" so married men can fear again. It's scary tipping outside your marriage these days.

I wonder........ Why did she take it to that extreme? They were both very young.

If McNair were honest with his mistress, then maybe she wouldn't have become a bunny boiler.

She was single and probably adored McNair, even though he was married. In fact, she was so enamored, that she began to believe that if she couldn't have him, nobody could. The fact that she was being strung along by McNair, which was oblivious to her, was very damaging to her self-esteem. Since McNair wouldn't satisfy Kazemi's intentions, she shot him.
There are many possible reasons why she could have shot herself. Perhaps she was remorseful for killing another human being, or perhaps she believed that she would join McNair in the afterlife. Either way, it is absolutely horrible that McNair's family and friends lost a husband, a father, a former teammate, and a friend, all thanks to his senseless act of forbidden love.

Who knows what was on this child's mind, and that is just what she was...a child...in a grown man's world. She was looking to fit the glass shoe, and all he was offering was a rubber boot. Who's fault it turned out so bad...we can't ask them, can we? The best solution is to let the families heal for their losses, it is too late to point fingers, the damage is done. No one's death is better than the other, mistake! maybe. God don't make mistakes, people do! Either he or she was misunderstood, all the same two young people is dead. That's very sad.

Will this man be projected as a "great man"? Hey..listen up. He was cheating on his wife and family. That equates to a liar.
Did he lie to his mistress? Maybe he should have been at home playing with those 4 little boys he left behind. They can tell their friends someday what happened to their father. How sad. To grow up knowing your dad was murdered by his mistress. Children learn by example. Will they be cheaters and liars?

Do not get this twisted, cheating and lying does not make you a bad person and the sins of father does not have anything to with the children. Those kids will only know what a great dad he was to them, regardless of what people might say about him. As far as I know, Steve was a good guy and from a good family. One example you should follow is...never judge a book by its cover and you who is without sin cast the first stone. Well put your stone down, we all have sinned. Will cheating and lying send you to hell? Don't know I'm not God and a good thing, God ain't one of us! I not coming down on you, it your opinion. I just want you think before you speak.

The ONLY one I feel bad for is the wife. This is public shame for her and the family. To find that her husband has been skipping out on them setting up Lady number 2 in a home and cars and crap. She gets a call that he is dead and has been cheating on her for six months.

There is a special place for Kazemi and McNair..

Daily Horoscope for December 19

Virgo

Someone is easily angered today, and you'll want to tiptoe around them at every opportunity. They might be on the defensive and imagine that you're getting at them all the time, or they could be quick to point the finger of blame straight at you. It won't be an easy day, but try not to get swept up in the emotional dramas that are swirling around you. They'll only exhaust you.
