L.A. cops kill armed man

You point a gun or what looks like a gun at the police you will die.

thats 2 this month, and its only the 6th, and 11 last month. law enforcement is gonna break a record. i think i'm the only one that is noticing a trend. or maybe i'm the only one that cares. just seems like a lot of officer involved KILLINGS lately.

I agree with your assesment - I had the same thoughts, but then I thought a little deeper and realized that a lot of unstable people have guns and are standing and pointing them at law enforcement officers - maybe we should reconsider our gun control laws ....

Let's see. A nut job with a history of trouble points a shotgun at cops. My understanding is that cops don't particularly like shotguns pointed at them by nut jobs looking like he's about to shoot the aforementioned shotgun at them. Thus, the cops shoot the nut job.

So let's do the math. One nut job off the street where he could reasonably harm innocents. One shotgun that could harm inocents off the street. One nut job that could use that same shotgun to harm innocents off the street.

No cops (or other innocents) hurt.

The trend you may be noticing is that a few nut jobs are no longer able to hurt innocent people.

And you have trouble with this... how?

Yes, I do believe it was one of the twins. I believe it was Eric. God bless his soul. He has not been well lately but he was not trying to hurt anyone, probably just himself. He was a kind and loving person.

Manic Depressive is a psychosis. So you'd like the police to talk to and play shrink with a man in the middle of a aggressive psychotic episode with a weapon pointed at them?

Sometimes the behavior of mentally ill people causes them to get hurt or killed. Sorry if the story doesn't end with a hug and a cup of hot cocoa.
In this case, it ended with an anti-social psychotic dead, a weaponn the hands of that psychotic off the streets. and no more threats to innocents from this ewapon or this psychotic. That's the real world.

I'm sorry he was a tormented soul. His torment is over. I hope he is now at peace.

he died because he wanted to he was more than a manic depressive, schizo i am sure. eric was tormented. he was a kind hearted loving man. loved people and animals especially. he wanted to die. he would not have shot the police. he wanted the police to kill him. ok. that is why he pointed the gun. that is why he fired shots in the house. he wanted the neighbors to call the police. he did not want to live. his illness was too much for him to bear.

My sincere condolences re your friend. The ones left behind suffer the most. His torment is over.

this guy was a fool and should have died a long time ago.
