Ho Chi Minh City police said Monday they had handed over a suspect who is wanted in the northern province of Quang Ninh for stealing nearly $116,000 worth of personal effects from a single wealthy businessman last month. Ngo Van Truong, 23, was arrested while trying to fence the proceeds of his crime at Parkson shopping center on Hung Vuong Street in District 5 on Saturday morning.

Jetstar Inaugurates Thanh Hoa-Ho Chi Minh City Route

Budget airline Jetstar Pacific inaugurated a new service between the north central province of Thanh Hoa and Ho Chi Minh City on Friday to meet increasing demand on this route, Vietnam News Agency reported. The service using Airbus A320 aircraft operates one return flight every day, which departs from Ho Chi Minh City at 10 am and from Thanh Hoa's Tho Xuan airport at 12:45 pm.
