The screenplay for Rovio's in-house Angry Birds film is being written by Jon Vitti, the Finnish developer has announced .

Veteran comedy and animation scribe Jon Vitti has been hired to pen the script for the 3D animated feature based on the "Angry Birds" app at Rovio Entertainment and Sony Pictures.
