Venezuelan Jewish groups have partnered with a leading developer to restore the oldest existing Jewish cemetery in South America.

Over 80 people, from the 10 Bolivarian nations and the Antilles, as well as a large number of participants from the various dioceses of Venezuela, participated in the 6th Regional Encounter for Self-Financing of the evangelizational activity of the Church, which ends today, September 18, in Caracas.

Thousands of demonstrators gathered around the offices of 34 broadcasters that were taken off the air in Venezuela after President Hugo Chavez argued they abused free speech.
