An appeals court says Missouri can enforce tough abortion laws
The Supreme Court had ruled that a more modest version of the regulations in Texas constituted an infringement of a woman's right to choose ABORTION-RIGHTS activists, concerned about how Brett Kavanaugh, President Donald Trump's pick for the Supreme Court, regards Roe v Wade, now have a new worry. On September 10th, a three-judge panel on the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals vacated a lower-court ruling that had blocked Missouri from enforcing regulations that could shutter all but one of the state's abortion clinics.
