Palin Resigning Governor's Job; Future Unclear

I hope she returns to private life. I was appalled that she accepted the nomination given the turmoil in her immediate family. Her kids need a quieter life.

Why did Gov. Palin resign?
Many political observers in Alaska are fixated on rumors that federal investigators have been seizing paperwork from SBS in recent months, searching for evidence that Palin and her husband Todd steered lucrative contracts to the well-connected company in exchange for gifts like the construction of their home on pristine Lake Lucille in 2002.

Sorry she is a very viable candidate Too bad she got stuck with McCann. She seems to be one of us commoners.

She is just like us,a family with a budget,down to earth,and she would do a hell of alot better job then we have with TOTUS in office,heck 9.5% is good when a dems in office apparently!

sadly , she thinks she is good enough for DC .. she is small town, uneducated, unsophisticated ... no clue as to what it takes to be POTUS or even in congress. Stay home and care for your kids .. they need a mom

She couldn't even finish her term as governor of a 47th largest state (pop.)! Does anyone still think she's ready for national politics?
