obama is lying. His economy is failing and he has put us into record debt that he will never repay.

How long before the news media will get over its glee of electing obama and realize that he is the biggest con artist since Bernie Madoff?

You're right--he's a liar. He said the stimulus is working--keeping teachers and firefighters from being laid off. He said it at that dog and pony show of a "town hall meeting." There have been stories every day in the Hartford Courant about towns laying off teachers and other personnel.

It's not a recovery, and what ever it is it sure is jobless, I thought about every place here had shut down all ready, but they were talking about even more big shutdown here today.
Remember the failure of the jimmy carter years, and then remember that jimmy carter paved the way for Ronald Reagan and we started to recover, just hope we have someone like Ronald Reagan to help us out of this mess in 3 and a half years..Nobama one term wonder..

Obama will be responsible for the national health care system, good or bad, success or failure; but the huge debt is Bush's, and his father's, and Reagan's. Likewise the fallen economy.

I am not hoping that our country fails.....I am witnessing it.

Obama's Kyoto agreement means a very big hurt on our manufacturing sector....but that is Bush's fault huh.

obama's health care plan is a sham and a desperate act of demagoguery. Obama needs something to hold up for the fools to believe in. He certainly suckered you in.

obama created more debt during his first month in office that George Bush created in the previous 8 years.

The only working economy obama has left is momentum carried over from George Bush. The Democrats have created more debt and more new social programs than Bush ever imagined.

Where are all of those bridges and road projects that liar obama promised would create so many jobs? The only road projects going on are the ones already in the pipeline from President Bush.

The so-called stimulus money has been spent to artificially prop up banks and the stock market.

Obamanuts will buy it hook,line and sinker,even as they get a pink slip.

The stimulus money has been used to pay back obama's political supporters and to create new social programs which don't contribute to the economy and don't create any national wealth. This money has been wasted and will continue to create a burden on the government and the taxpayers.
Much of the stimulus money was funneled into Medicaid to fill in a huge shortfall of this already failed government program. Even obama stated that Medicaid had to be saved. This was a major bailout.

One thing is for sure... the stimulus money has not been creating jobs.

As far as the banks, they have already repaid the government nearly a hundred billion dollars. Those were loans not grants.
