N.Y. Congressman Acknowledges Affair, Child

I hope that he remains in office. This is another example of a private affair being blown up by a media more interested in gossip than news.

Fossella is the only Republican Congressman from NYC, and he has committed no crime, just a personal and private lapse of morals.

That is all we have in the political arena any more is garbage who think they are above everyone else.

I love to see the GOP hypocrites caught in their own game! I got news for you, my friend. When the GOP and its allies promote the notion that Democrats are, by definition, immoral, they better make sure that there own undies are lilly white! Hypocrisy reeks, and the GOP is going down. Maybe now we can save the US.

BTW, the GOP has given him 48 hrs to resign. He committed the ultimate sin. He got caught.

As far as Clinton, that wasn't the reason, he lied to the grand jury. I don't care who he went to bed with either.
But lying to the grand jury is against the law for any other US citizen.

When you hold an elected government office, you don't have a "private citizen" status. He should resign!
