McCain wouldn't happen to be trying to get himself elected, would he?
Futher from Bush, better his odds.

If McCain is going to have his vicious preacher pretending to apologize for his cursing against the Catholic Church and for McCain to pretend to turn green with the environment all of a sudden-- we all need to take it as a sign that McCain would be a joke of a President. Unbelievable. JCBTWA

Go fix Iraq... wonderful. How about we fix the United States? Better yet, since all the McCain voters love the war in Iraq, lets send everyone who votes for him to Iraq to fight/get IED'd there. The ones who voted for Obama will stay here and fix this nation instead. Better yet, if you are so love lost for Iraq, why not become a citizen?

Sounds like a fair trade-off.

that was quite a compelling arguement ... since i'm SURE you know for a fact what every mccain supporter thinks, you've grounded your point in a solid bedrock of truth and fact.

you, personally, have shattered the myth that obama's supporters are better educated...good job!

McCain proved yesterday in NJ that politics is 'independent' of any truth in scientific measurements of climatology and that as slick politician he can use false 'science' in the most cynical way to make his 'point' against Bush.
McCain is trying now to distance himself from the Republicans like Hannity and Limbaugh that keep stabbing him in the back and as maverick he 'wanders' left to find the liberal socialists that demand high taxes and rule of the government over the people.
As liberal socialist McCain is telling the American people what he and his government will decide what is ‘good’ or ‘bad’ for them by using fines for the ‘bad’ things like SUVs.
McCain proved that he is a true liberal who supports taxing in a “cap-and-trade” system in which the American people SUV and Minivan drivers will need to meet limits on carbon dioxide base on the size of the engine by buying deceitful and fraudulent ‘credits’.
The system is based on 'blaming' one molecule of CO2 in every 3000 of air to affect warming even that actual tests could not prove any greenhouse warming at 10,000 feet altitude while 200 molecules of water in every 3000 molecules of air could contribute 200 times more than CO2 to any greenhouse effect that was never measured.
McCain proved that he is a true maverick that will support ‘big government that will tells the Americans what to do’ as his political position if it will give him votes.
McCain cannot care less about any truth in his scientific lies about global warming which is now more like global cooling with cynical use of taxing of US SUVs as means to ‘punish’ the American people.
McCain fines aimed at pushing the American people to use miniature and dangerous plastic 'liberal cars' at low speed and low acceleration which is disgusting because it is about defying the freedom of every American according to the constitution to chose his car based on lies and more specifically on socialistic lies.

Of course, no one knows what the fates have in store for McCain; why he may not even make it to the grand debates. Remember that life is oh so full of mysteries and surprises

Anyway, I’m dedicating this poem to Al Gore and his family and to the work he continues to do in trying to save the planet and its inhabitants unlike apathetic and egotistical bush who’s responsible for creating a hell on earth…Quite a big difference, don’t you think?

I think that I shall never see

A poem lovely as a tree,

A tree whose hungry mouth is prest

Against the earth’s sweet flowing breast;

A tree that looks at God all day

And lifts her leafy arms to pray;

A tree that may in summer wear

A nest of robins in her hair;

Upon whose bosom snow has lain;

Who intimately lives with rain.

Poems are made by fools like me,

But only God can make a tree. Joyce Kilmer

The wonderful thing about the Obama/Clinton runnoff is that the Democrats have been presenting their platform in open debate for months after the Republicans settled on McCain.

Their energy program has been out there for the world to see! Both Obama and Clinton will make mandates for solar, wind, bio fuels with standards to reduce greenhouse emmissions in short order.

BTW... Its also a part of Obama's ecconomic recovery program as well!

We can become LESS dependant on foriegn oil and put Americans to work at the same time. Whatdayaknow???

Please pay attention. There is an election going on.

John, have you REALLY looked at how inefficient solar, wind, and geo are? C'mon now. They are almost as bad as using corn to make fuel..you spend more energy turning i tinto fuel than you ever get out of it. Drill Anwar or go nuclear...the only viable, reasonable solutions.

Yeah and Bush's Crawford house was only about 100 times more "green" than Al Gores ever thought about being until it was "convenient".

McCain's only concern about climate change is making sure that the thermostat in the Oval Office must be set to 82, and that there is always a clean, comfortable sweater and afghan on his rocking chair for those long nights he wants to spend sitting by the fireplace listening to Amos 'n' Andy on the radio.

Bush's only concern about climate change is making sure the weather is nice on the day he flees the country to avoid arrest for treason as he flies to the 900-acre "ranch" he bought last year in extradition-free Paraguay.

global warming is something that scientist DO NOT agree on, the science of climate is not a perfect one, and is still evolving. I dont think we should invest billions into something that we do not fully understand. BTW I am a dem this year :)
