American grounds all MD-80 jets

American Airlines canceled about 200 flights, less than 10 percent of the nation's biggest airline's scheduled service, on Wednesday so its crews can inspect some wire bundles aboard its MD-80 aircraft.

Well, we have also learned this week that the Airbus 319 can take a .44 Caliber bullet through the cockpit wall and keep flying

.40 cal ...and it only kept flying because it was a flesh wound.
