I'm still awaiting a letter from Senator Shelby that actually addresses his vote. I have received a letter of legal speak that is irrelevant. This amendment passed 68-30, and all 30 NAYs were republican Senators. This is the most partisan, ridiculous, and obvious indication that this suffering GOP cannot turn around. If Alabama constituents call themselves Christian, and allow Shelby and Sessions to represent them as pro-war, pro-rape, pro-hate, then it's time to re-think your representatives or your religion.
