Why is Congress & Obama focussed on health care entitlements that will add to the Nationa Debt, when we're passing 10% Unemployment?

Why don't demoscats understand the economy/jobs are priority #1?

This country has 10%+ unemployment.

Obama and the demoncrats seek to increase taxes for healthcare beginning in January (and healthcare services won't kick in until 2013).

Obama and demoncrats are cutting BILLIONS and BILLIONS from Medicare.

Obama and demoncrats are going to TAX medical devices.

And expect the Value Added Tax (VAT) on EVERYTHING, EVERYBODY...yes, even the POOR, will be paying on ALL purchases. EVERYTHING you purchase will be taxed.

Start calling, start voting out DemoNcrats to just balance government in 2010 and vote them OUT in 2012.

Reclaim, save America...this president doesn't seek to do that.

They should feel their jobs are on the line. The brand new Cong Owens from from the 23RD NY has broken 4 of his campaign promises and is in the pocket of Queen Nancy and King Harry. Soros was one of his supporters and no wonder he is telling the people of NY 23RD,"YOU DONT MATTER AND YOU ARE NOT WORTH A HILL OF BEAN." How does it feel upstate NY that you voted for this liar. Most of Congress dont care becasue there are 237 millionaires, mostly Democrats. 4 of the top 5 are Democrats. They do not have to worry because they are exempt from the rules they make sure they have an exemption in every law. When are the people going to wake up and learn about the lyoing rascals in Congress and throw the whole crowd out in 2010. As soon as the Senate election in 2010 in MA, I am going to become a DINO so I can vote in the primary and make my vote count. There is always a small turnout here in the primary and I think this time there is going to be a lot of competition here for these liars seats. I might do it earlier since I watched the Senate debate the oyher nigh and they were trying to out left Barney Frank and most did. It was so sickening I had a hard time to keep from vomiting.These people make LIVE SHOT KERRY and Ted Kennedy look like SAINTS. I asked my Democrats friends bout the debate and none had watched it. These are the same people that complain everyday about what is happening to them. Voters in this state are oblivious to what is going on, no wonder they keep voting these useless people back into office.

The only jobs Hussein has created are his shadow government (the Czars) and union jobs. No non-union workers need apply.

Voter apathy and ignorance of the law are root causes. But...this banter of them losing their jobs? They may well lose them. However, they get life time pensions with a COLA clause. It happens at Federal and State levels. AMAZING!!!!!!!!!

The central issue since January has been economy/jobs. Yet, democrats have talked about every other issue except jobs. Obama, in his arrogance, has paid little attention to the jobs picture and now that issue is going to plague him for the reset of his term.

This entire administration is incompetant.

I wonder if they are able to draw it the year they get voted out or retire.

Every member in the house who votes yea today knows that their time is short.But that depends if the district they live in is not in the tank with them.

Eron...they write the laws! Yes! They get the pension regardless of being voted out or retirement. I am reminded of a Rep from Pa. who served one term. And, he crowed about having a pension for life. He had been an attorney-at-law prior. Would he have had a pension from that job? NO! But he got a cost of living adjusted check (courtesy of Pa taxpayers) for the rest of his life.
In Congress, do you see the hypocrisy? Most are millionaires. Maybe, they will craft bills to see that their spouses get that pension money when they die.

A real start would be a grass roots campaign on campaign finance law. Put simply, you have people in office, already rich as Croecus, who further stuff their campaign chests with special interest monies. Along comes some person, who is rooted in the Constitution. Sound ideas and not tied to 'grease'. He/she doesn't have a snowballs chance in hell of winning...because the deck is stacked. Supremes have already taken a stand on soft money, funny money or whatever.

And they vote on THEIR own raises, THEIR own budgets.

Obama couldn't give Social Security recepients their COLAs but gave federal workers a 2% increase and INCREASED the budgets for congress....plus they want to keep their Federal Employee Insurance (cadillac plans...think hairplugs...remind you of any politicians?) instead of taking ObamaCare.

But this doesn't just stop at the federal level...check out the state level...check out school boards that vote on their OWN raises and then have to rescind them because the salary is over and above beginning teachers (FL).

Plus they tell 'the people' stop driving those clunkers, cutback on your use of electricity, get on mass transit while THEY TRAVEL IN PRIVATE JETS, buid gigantic homes and keep the lights burning.

There are no examples to follow in Washington, DC.

It's disgusting.
