Sept. 11 recovery aid bill fails in Senate
“This is a situation where the folks from New York, who are good and decent people, have decided to raid the Federal Treasury to get some money to pay for something in a very questionable way”
The Senate failed yesterday to approve the last of New York City's 9/11 recovery aid when a Republican coalition blocked a vote in the Senate. via Newsday.com
