We already had to suffer through Jerry "Moon-beam" Brown as governor once before! This guy hasn't held a private sector job in his life! He's the perpetual politician who bounces around electged posoitions all over the Stae since term limits took effect. He's just one of the crowd of perpetual Democrat Socialist losers who couldn't hold a private sector job if his life depended on it! His daddy was also a prior Democrat California governor way back in the early 1960's! Does Sam Farr also ring a bell here? He's never held a private sector job either and his daddy was also a Democrat State Congressman who also made his political fortune promising all kinds of free stuff to voters! Need more? Think Richard Daley of Chicago and his daddy and their associations with Chicago corruption and Obama!

Pretty sad for California dems that they can't find anyone other than Jerry Brown to run for gov.
The man's 71 yrs old and he's from old CA politics. California is sinking fast and needs new blood, but it's too late.

Brown was the only successful governor we've had in the last 50 years, including Warren. Brown, unlike Davis, is uncorruptable, and unlike Reagan, is a competent administrator who balanced our budgets in his 8 years. He should serve one more term, clean up Davis' and Arnie's mess, and then retire.

Put the beer down Joe, you've had enough already it's clouding your memory! Too many dead long and short term memory cells have been destroyed!

I agree and I'm delighted he's going to run for governor again, but I'm hoping we can get two terms out of him! I think he's going to need it to get us solvent again. What a mess!

I agree with some but not all of that...

This mess we're in is not of Arnie's making. It is from all the short-sighted, free-spending, illegal-loving Democrats in the state houses. Arnie has been trying to hold the tide against their insanity, and if we get another Dem governor, especially someone besides Brown, there will be either bankruptcy or revolt.

He's a union tramp from way back. They swarmed to him like flies, dumping womanizers like Newsome and Villaraigoso and the nit-wit, do nothing Garamendi - none of whom had a chance. Check Secretary of State website for a list of his supporters.

The problem is that Cali is too big; and these guy like it that way; more power! They need to slpit the state in half or fourth and then there might be a chance for justice; it won't happen unless the People revolt and demand it! Because it take the vote of the Ca legislatures; (the US would approve it with no problem. Who will step up to the place and lead Ca to this path and save all of us and the State? All the people deserve justice the same.

Yeah!

Folks used to say that California should be split between Northern California and Disneyland. Now, it's much more vital - It needs to be split between California and Mexico...

Daily Horoscope for December 30

Virgo

If the December sales are calling you, you'd better work out a budget before you leave the house. Otherwise, you'll be tempted to use your credit card first and only consider the cost of your purchase later on. Even so, you could track down some great bargains now, provided you don't get carried away and buy items that you don't really want simply because you're astonished by the amount of money you'll save in buying them. But you'll save even more money if you don't buy them!
