Mark Leggio fined for contributions to congresswoman

Influential Upland businessman Mark Leggio was recently fined $6,000 by the Federal Election Commission for excessive contributions made to the campaign of a California congresswoman.

It will be interesting to see if Leggio actually does some well-deserved jail time. I am sure he will be very repentant to the judge. BUT you can assure yourself that his arrogance away from the judge will continue. Leggio thinks that politics is sports. He gets a great ego boost from crooked politicians who kiss his posterior for funding. My money says that he will continue to run afoul of the law even after sentencing. He laughs at the law.

Mr. Leggio has been illegally interfering in political campaigns for a LONG time. He has benefitted financially in a tremendous way for his efforts. Leggio has been repaid from grateful councilmembers---especially in Ontario. In Ontario he has received millions of undeserved dollars from the redevelopment agency. Leggio's activity is the reason the racketeering act (RICO) needs to be applied to him, and others like him such as Burum and Richards.
