Typical Republican?? How about typical politician? He's not the only one to try to take credit for something he didn't do. I don't suppose you remember Al Gore inventing the internet do you?

Your powers of interpretation (not to mention confabulation) are legend. Please leave me the YouTube. I would have to see it for myself.

Never mind. I found the YouTube snippet - which conveniently cut out the rest of what he was saying and hence the context in which it could be reasonably understood. yawn

Brownback was against it, that is true. Once he found out illegal aliens could also benefit from the project he thought it was ok.

Probably should have left instructions. It's a redneck Playstation. Move your cursor over to the flyswatter and then see how fast you can swat 10 flies.

Al Gore does purport to be green, and an environmentalist, and has the hardware to prove his fanatacism (Nobel Prize for his drama "Inconvenient Truth"). While he was busy ranting about the global warming sky falling; he was busy living in a mansion, driving a fleet of SUV's, and producing a carbon footprint second to no one else in government. Look at his record for legislation and see if he or Brownback is the bigger hypocrit. Then imagine the nation led by him before you chime in about Brownback or Kansas

Actually I hadn't commented on Brownbeck and feel no need to. Just responding to an inaccurate statement.

This is for freedon-loving patriotic Americans.

It is not for socialists like xtp, Marie, Chatty Kathy, Bozo, and any of those out there in Californication land.

President Obama has formally abandoned a program "necessary for defending America's friends and allies as well as the homeland from intercontinental and intermediate-range missiles," write Heritage security experts Baker Spring and Mackenzie Eaglen. The decision to scrap 10 missile interceptors in Poland and radar in the Czech Republic undermines America's commitments to her allies and further kindles rogue nations' pursuit of nuclear production and development.

More than 1,000 Americans have generously offered to host a screening of The Heritage Foundation's new documentary on missile defense, 33 Minutes: Protecting America in the New Missile Age. Following President Obama's decision to abandon missile defenses in Europe, it's now more important than ever to get the word out about this film. Watch the short trailer and sign up to host a screening of our film at www.33minutes.com .

Ten missiles in Poland are going to save all our allies and the homeland?????? Just how is this going to happen. The ten missles would be lucky to hit just one missle from where ever. Think about it.

It took a few tries to catch on to the angle. I like the way they keep twitching their legs after they are s-p-l-a-t.

What's you best time? It doesn't pay to rush - it seems to make them move more and faster, just like the real ones.

Daily Horoscope for December 28

Scorpio

The thought of the sales is almost too good to resist today, and you'll jump at the chance to see what's on offer. Even better if you can snap up some bargains at the same time. It's certainly a good day for investing your money carefully, but make sure you aren't more seduced by the reduction in the cost of something than in the item itself. Are you certain that you want to buy it?
