People, if the fact there is NO OFFICIAL validation of a Presidential Candidate's citizenship eligibility in either Fed or State, then listen up.
The bill that rep posey has introduced will NOT be allowed out of the Committee! The Dem leadership (Pelosie, Hoyer, Schumer) will NOT even allow it to t6he floor as that will make the public aware there is a problem.
IF anyone here has a Republican led State Legislature, or Stae Governor. Get on the phones, email, snail mail, and visit State rep offices and demand a similar bill to be passed at the State level!
One Fed Congress that won't pass this bill vs 50 States that MAY pass it. All it would take is ONE State to pass this. Have the bill mandate whomever is responsible for balloting and polling in the State (it's different in every State, but normally it's the Secretary of State) to require Birth Certificate's and VALIDATE the information it contains.
Also mandate them to create a logged REPORT that it was done. And make the election agency responsible for any legal or financial damage to the State if fraud exists. This is an important step as MOST State Secretaries are Democrats!
All it will take is ONE State to disallow a major candidate from being on the ballot and their National chances are gone. Even the Main Stream Media will have to report that news!
And for the ones who don't want their candidates to be "verified" then don't worry about. But, it's going to happen before 2012, count on it.
And just for what it's worth, I am a PROUD Birther, so calling names don't work with me. I'd rather be a Birther than a Baby Killer (Abortion) OR a Socialist. I am neither.
