2 The "Blue Dogs" are a group of Dems who told the president they wouldn't guarantee to rubber stamp a health care proposal, unless he put out some specific information. Doesn't sound like a yellow dog democrat to me...at least not today. (My uncle was a self described "yella-dawg" democrat.) Anyway, Moore hasn't been missing from Washington recently, and I sure wouldn't do any public appearances, if in fact, there had been threats against him. I've met the man, and even though I'm Republican, I have very much respect for him. He's a decent human being... |

1 Like John Q I have met him and think he's is a good man. I don't like his politics, but I do believe he is sincere in what he believes. However, the writer of the article that referred to Moore as a Blue Dog Democrat is totally out-of-his-mind. Moore has been one of the most liberal voters in the House. He is and has been towing the line and following the leadership of the Democratic party. Truefully, they are his constituency, not us. I write our politicians more then most people. He has always responded in a timely manner, telling me he does not agree with me, but he thinks we will agree one day.-:)- Uh, not really. We can't go around threatening politicians because we don't agree with them, however we also can't sit idle while Socialist/Marxist thinking politicians attempt to take away our freedoms. I also hope Moore didn't use the excuse of having received a threat, to avoid meeting with his REAL CONSTITUENTS, if it was not true. If both Houses of Congress and the White House and the Cabinet and all the Czars, would be covered by the same National HealthCare Plan they're trying to shove down our throats, I wouldn't think ill of them. But they place themselves above the citizens of this country - and I find that detestable. That is way too elitist for my taste. No politician should come to my townhall and tell me how well off me and my family will be, and how wonderful this HealtCare Plan is, but they are NOT GOING TO PARTICIPATE themselves! It just doesn't sell. Would you believe the Ford salesman when he tells you just how great the Ford pruducts are, and then you see him drive away in a Lincoln Towncar? |

I have also met him. I wasn't referring to his character, but his voting record. |

I agree. He always responds to my mail, and I have written to him many times and I have a folder with all his replies. He is frank about when he disagrees with me. He even sends me extra stuff at times in an attempt to prove why he voted a certain way. I understand Moore has canceled his town hall meetings. |

1 Wow!! That's about 25% higher per family than the Bush Administation - which was evil and corrupt. This makes OBAMA 25% more evil and corrupt then Bush. |
||||
At least it is going for better causes here at home, rather than an unnecessary war, sold to us with bogus info. How does that figure in your measurements for evil? |

1 You guy, will spend,$8,000.00 per household more then what was spent last year. Do you think that is some small some of money. If so, get out your trusty calculator and run the number. Make sure it's a calculator that can go above eight figures. You can't divert the conversation to Bush, we're talking about how lame your boyfriend is. |

Like I said - you da one who brought up Ol' Dubya. Any news on the job front? |

1 You wrote: "Like I said - you da one who brought up Ol' Dubya." No I didn't! Not once did I mention Bush. Here's what I wrote: "For someone who says you are not REALLY SURE about your Messiah, you do jump to his defense faster then even THE Bozo. Your guy, will spend,$8,000.00 per household more then what was spent last year." I was comparing spending. That's all. Nothing more. I did refer to the amount spent last year, but that was done for two reasons. 1. It was a means to provide a benchmark to this years spending by Obama. 2. Spending was also a rallying cry for the Obama supporters when trying to link McCain with Bush. It worked. For someone who says you are not REALLY SURE about your Messiah, you do jump to his defense faster then even THE Bozo. You guy, will spend,$8,000.00 per household more then what was spent last year. |

The debt is now $38,222 per person. Interest on the national debt is 303 and a half trillion.

Yeah yer real funny. Not much a shill though. Shell games are not your strength. |

1 Marie, the destination of the spending has nothing to do with the very, very large debt that we are placing on future generations. You are so typical of an emotional, non thinking person. |
