WV is the 'Appalachian step sister' of American politics. We are underrepresented on all issues by our elected officials. Rockefeller NEVER has represented our needs and just decides what is "Best for us" because he is under the delusion that we are,(as a population), too stupid to have any kind of input on ANY issue that affects us. Byrd is old and ill. Mollahan, Rahall and Manchin have their leftist agenda that doesn't bode well for ANY West Virginian. And finally...Capito is a tiny voice in the wilderness not able to effect any meaningful change. It feels hopeless, but that doesn't mean that we need to stop trying to rally and STOP being the victims of our own elected officials as well as DC.
