Critics say Ky. governor is a Scrooge for calling Capitol evergreen a 'holiday tree'

Some Christians in Kentucky are angry over the governor's yuletide terminology. A giant evergreen that will brighten the Capitol lawn this winter won't be called a Christmas tree.

The governor can call the tree anything he wishes. But for those of us who believe,celebrate,and are not afraid to make our true beliefs know, It is a Christmas tree! Hope those that voted for this joke of a man remembers all this come election time. I believe in the bible Jesus makes a statement if you don't know me and acknowledge my ways, when it comes time for the final judge, I'll not know you.

why does the antics of this man shock anyone? the record speaks for itself. what happened to the "christian" heritage and family values he spoke of during election? i guess they went the way of the public deciding the fate of gambling in ky. scrooge isnt the name that comes to my mind. pray for honesty in ky state government. we have a big God and i believe in miracles

is everyone turning against the Bible and what is told of us to do? i am shocked everyday in what i read about.our country is in need of strong prayers and all christians to stand up for what God has said for us to do.God Bless America!!! IN GOD WE TRUST''.
