Eastbourne man launches government petition into medical assessments for disability benefits
Mark Oldaker, who suffers from a number of ailments including Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis, has already received more than 3,000 peoples' support but he needs 10,000 signatures to get a response from the government. After being denied Personal Independence Payments , he is calling to get medical assessments conducted by consultants and GPs who 'understand' patients' conditions - particularly for those who suffer conditions like his.
